Oklahoma City County Health Department (OCCHD) Launches Public Health Kiosk Program Across Multiple Locations Providing Free Access to Essential Public Health Items
Oklahoma City, OK — The Oklahoma City County Department (OCCHD) is excited to announce the launch of its new public health kiosks at 10 convenient locations throughout Oklahoma County, with one more to be added soon. These kiosks provide free, direct access to essential public health items, ensuring that the community can access critical resources whenever needed.
The OCCHD kiosks are strategically located indoors and outdoors at various community centers, partner locations, and public spaces to enhance accessibility. No income verification is required, making these resources available to all residents. This program is designed to meet the community’s needs for commonly requested public health items and empower residents to take proactive steps toward their well-being.
Public Health Items Available at the Kiosks:
• COVID-19 & Flu At-Home Rapid Tests
• COVID-19 Antigen Home Tests
• Emergency Mylar Blanket
• Early Detection Pregnancy Tests
• Naloxone HCL Nasal Spray (Narcan)
• Xylazine Test Strips
• Fentanyl Test Strips, and more…
These kiosks are free to the community and designed to meet a variety of public health needs with ease and privacy.
The OCCHD Public Health Kiosk Program was funded through grants from the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Minority Health.
